About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Database Administrator (Mid Level DBA) to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role requires an experienced professional with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise database environments.

Role Overview

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various database systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across multiple database technologies, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of critical data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Perform standard DBA activities including database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.
Perform SQL and database performance tuning.
Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
Support database migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability.
Maintain database documentation, procedures, and configurations.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams on database-related requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

3-5 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise database environments.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.
