About the Driver Role at PaxOcean

PaxOcean is seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of workers between accommodation facilities and project sites or yards. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, traffic regulations, and company policies to facilitate timely and secure transit for all passengers.

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the Driver role is to provide reliable transportation services for workers, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit. This involves meticulous planning, adherence to schedules, and proactive vehicle maintenance to support continuous operations at our project sites. The Driver plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport workers between dormitory and yard according to scheduled timings.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers throughout transit.
• Adhere strictly to all local traffic rules and company safety regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel level, engine condition, and overall cleanliness.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Assist in coordinating transport schedules when required.
• Ensure punctuality and reliability in all transportation duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Saudi Arabia driving license, appropriate for the assigned vehicle (*, bus/van).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in worker transportation.
• Good knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes within Al Jubayl and surrounding areas.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and safety awareness.
• Ability to communicate basic instructions in English.
• Physically fit and capable of working effectively in a site-based environment.

Educational Background

A Diploma is required for this position.
