KBR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician I to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician I will be responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating daily instrument maintenance activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, conducting site visits, and working closely with the Instrument foreman to improve system availability and reliability. The technician will also assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily instrument maintenance activities performed by technicians on all plant instrument systems, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Act as the focal point for the daily instrument maintenance execution plan.
• Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and monitor routine maintenance activities.
• Lead technicians assigned to the area.
• Receive and translate work directions from the Instrument foreman into actionable tasks for instrument systems maintenance orders/requests.
• Follow up on instrument maintenance work progress, submit regular progress reports with recommendations, and keep records of daily maintenance works against planned programs.
• Work closely with the Instrument foreman to recommend and implement changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of instrument/instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment by providing recommendations to increase suitability and serviceability.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during onsite maintenance.
• Ensure personnel possess the necessary skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools for safe and effective routine maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Synergic and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
