KBR is currently seeking a dedicated Insulation Fitter for a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Insulation Fitter is to perform the removal and repair of both hot and cold insulation systems. This role is critical for maintaining industrial equipment and infrastructure within designated plant environments, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems within SATORP Plants.
• Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application by brushing or spreading on adhesives.
• Select appropriate insulation materials, such as fiberglass, Styrofoam, or cork, based on their heat retaining or excluding characteristics.
• Maintain awareness and adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules.
• Demonstrate proper knowledge of plant hazardous materials and their safe handling.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position located in Al Jubail, within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within industrial plant environments, specifically SATORP Plants, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols and operational standards.
