Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail. This is a full-time position focused on leading electrical engineering activities for significant industrial projects.

Role Overview

The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and guiding all electrical engineering aspects within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects. This role ensures the development and implementation of safe, reliable, and compliant electrical systems throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for EPC and industrial projects.
• Review and approve electrical engineering deliverables and technical documents.
• Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, substations, cables, lighting, and grounding systems.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and specific project standards.
• Coordinate effectively with various engineering disciplines, vendors, and construction teams.
• Review electrical calculations, equipment specifications, and technical submissions.
• Provide essential technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience specifically within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead electrical engineering teams and activities.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in designing and reviewing complex electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Capability to review and approve technical documents and calculations.
• Effective coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
