TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Packages Engineer to join their client's team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves contributing to the design and construction of projects within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and chemicals sectors. Role Overview

The Mechanical Packages Engineer will specialize in mechanical package engineering, focusing on material handling, chemical, urea, and ammonia applications for industrial plants. This position requires expertise in managing projects through their complete lifecycle, from basic and detailed engineering to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical package design during the PDP and FEED phases.
• Prepare proposals for PDP and FEED projects.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Apply strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, NFPA, IEC) and regulations (HCIS, RCER).
• Interpret project standards and specifications, analyze vendor/contractor exceptions, and offer technical support for stationary equipment issues.
• Review, update, and develop company standards related to mechanical packages.
• Manage all activities related to the development and review of mechanical package engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.
• Utilize engineering software such as PV Elite and/or COMPRESS, and review stress analysis (FEA) reports against international standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates based in Saudi Arabia are highly considered.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil, or gas industrial environments is required.
• At least 10 years of this experience should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC contractor, performing mechanical package engineering for greenfield and brownfield facilities in the petrochemical or related chemical and fertilizer industries.
• Experience across the complete project cycle (basic and detailed engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support) for greenfield/brownfield projects, typically with FEED project sizes of approximately 150,000 hours.
• Demonstrated experience in resolving operational and design issues.
• Proficiency in mechanical package design, specifically related to PDP and FEED.
• Experience in pre-tender stage design.
• Ability to manage scheduling, man-hour control, productivity, and status reporting.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technical developments in relevant fields of expertise.
• Experience supporting procurement activities to meet client and vendor requirements.

Required Skills

• In-depth experience in mechanical package design for PDP and FEED.
• Strong knowledge of international codes (API, ASME, ISO, PIP) and industrial practices related to stationary equipment, machinery, and mechanical packages.
• Capability to interpret project standards and specifications effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge for managing all activities related to mechanical package engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as PV Elite and/or COMPRESS.
