Shift Supervisor Warehouse and Shipping

About the Role

Guardian Industries is seeking a Shift Supervisor, Warehouse and Shipping, to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves leading the safety, quality, productivity, and daily execution of Warehouse & Shipping operations during the assigned shift. The supervisor provides frontline leadership, ensures operational excellence, and supports the efficient movement and storage of finished products while maintaining a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse & Shipping operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of daily activities.
• Foster a culture where safety is the top priority by identifying risks, addressing unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor and assess workplace hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure Warehouse and Shipping areas remain organized, maintained, and compliant with established procedures and standards.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Warehouse and Shipping team members to improve capability, accountability, and overall performance.
• Provide training on safe glass handling practices, operating procedures, and work standards.
• Drive employee engagement by motivating and encouraging team members to achieve department objectives and key performance indicators.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and work processes are safe and fit for use.
• Manage warehouse storage locations and maintain product location accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse supplies to ensure material availability and operational continuity.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Support the achievement of shipping targets through effective resource planning and execution.
• Monitor employee performance, provide timely feedback, and support development through coaching and training.
• Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience leading frontline teams in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience coaching, developing, and supporting employee performance.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in the glass manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
• Experience leading safety, quality, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or operational excellence principles.
• Experience using operational data and performance metrics to drive results.
• Demonstrated ability to build engaged, high-performing teams.
