About the Role

Wood (KSA) is seeking an ED IV/ Senior Telecommunication Designer to join its Telecom & Security team. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and involves contributing to engineering design projects within the energy and materials sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop telecommunication drawings, including Outside Plant and Inside Plant designs.
• Ensure familiarity with Saudi Aramco drafting standards, specifications, and codes of practice.
• Adhere to company quality control assurance requirements applicable to the drafting function.
• Create base design drawings from agreed work scopes with minimal input from engineering personnel.
• Provide drafting checking functions as directed by an Engineer.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with engineering personnel.
• Contribute to group/discipline objectives relevant to the drafting function.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Telecommunications or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven capability within an engineering design company.
• Experience working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.
