About the Role

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client's team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves leading engineering execution and delivery for significant projects, contributing to a collaborative work environment focused on innovative solutions.

The projects undertaken span various sectors, including Oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, and refinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility and accountability for the engineering team's performance, execution, and delivery in line with project baselines.
• Support interfaces between engineering disciplines by understanding work processes and identifying critical activities for execution strategy.
• Contribute to a positive project culture in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other baseline documents across all project phases.
• Lead or support the development of the Project Execution Strategy for all engineering functions.
• Lead or support engineering schedule planning sessions.
• Manage the project engineering schedule, ensuring correct sequence is maintained or mitigations are implemented.
• Champion and support engineering throughout project execution.
• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering and other project disciplines, including Process Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management, Procurement and Contracts, Construction, and the client team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 16 years of experience in Engineering/Design, specifically within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineering Lead on FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Design projects.

Required Skills and Background

• Strong background in piping and mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Brownfield projects.
• Prior experience in Turn Around projects and the petrochemical industry.
