About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position offers an opportunity for professionals with 0-1 years of experience to advance their careers in front office operations.

Role Overview

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for delivering professional, customer-focused service to ensure guests have a memorable stay. This role involves direct interaction with guests, managing front desk operations, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to all guests.
  • Welcome and check in guests according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Process check-outs for departing guests in line with hotel standards.
  • Sell rooms to walk-in guests and manage day-to-day facilities issues.
  • Handle cash inventory, foreign currency exchange, and related financial transactions according to the credit policy.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all hotel departments, including Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservations.
  • Ensure the Guest Service Desk is continuously staffed, operationally prepared, and stocked to serve as a primary point of contact for guests.
  • Maintain guest privacy by ensuring no guest details are disclosed.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, and facilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in hospitality is required.
  • Previous experience in a Front Office Department within a hotel setting is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Knowledge of an additional language is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience with Opera software is an advantage.
