About the Role

Arab Company for Projects is seeking a qualified Hydrographic Surveyor I to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position involves conducting specialized surveys to support various marine projects.

Role Overview

The Hydrographic Surveyor I will be responsible for executing hydrographic, oceanographic, and bathymetric surveys. This role is integral to supporting marine construction, dredging, and offshore engineering projects by providing essential data and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting hydrographic surveys to map underwater terrain and features.
Performing oceanographic surveys to gather data on marine environments.
Executing bathymetric surveys to measure water depths.
Operating specialized acoustic equipment, including multibeam echo sounders and side-scan sonar.
Utilizing positioning systems for accurate data collection.
Working with navigation software to support survey operations.
Providing survey support for marine construction projects.
Assisting with survey requirements for dredging operations.
Contributing to offshore engineering projects through precise survey data.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in hydrographic surveying or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in operating acoustic equipment such as multibeam echo sounders and side-scan sonar.
Experience with positioning systems and navigation software.
Ability to conduct hydrographic, oceanographic, and bathymetric surveys effectively.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern region. The role requires on-site presence to conduct surveys and support project operations.
