KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) delivers comprehensive solutions across the entire asset lifecycle, encompassing licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions for optimizing assets. KBR is seeking an Instrument Technician (Level III) to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily instrument maintenance activities performed by technicians on all instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Act as the focal point for the daily instrument maintenance execution plan.
• Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and monitor routine maintenance activities.
• Lead and guide technicians assigned to the area.
• Receive work directions from the Instrument Foreman regarding maintenance orders/requests and translate these into actionable tasks.
• Follow up on instrument maintenance work progress, submit regular progress reports with recommendations to the Instrument Foreman, and record daily maintenance works against planned programs.
• Prepare work completion reports as applicable.
• Collaborate with the Instrument Foreman to recommend and implement changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment by providing recommendations to increase suitability and serviceability.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during onsite maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations for developing activities with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
