About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an IT Supervisor to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to ensuring reliable hardware and seamless software operations, which are fundamental to the daily experience at IHG. The IT Supervisor will be responsible for installing new systems, enhancing security, and maintaining high IT standards to provide teams with essential tools and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for computer hardware servicing, ensuring proper system installation and efficient operation.
Provide regular reports to the General Manager, Director of Finance and Business Support, and Area IT Leader.
Stay current with all approved IHG systems and technology, including LAN and POS.
Maintain hardware and software performance, as well as digital and physical security standards.
Evaluate vendor proposals to ensure optimal IT solutions.
Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions for the hotel team to enhance their IT expertise.
Safeguard the IT infrastructure against potential cyberthreats.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in information technology. The role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and security protocols.
