IT Supervisor

About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking an IT Supervisor to ensure the reliability of hardware and seamless operation of software within the hotel environment. This full-time role focuses on installing new systems, enhancing security, and maintaining high IT standards to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for computer hardware servicing, ensuring proper system installation and efficient operation.
• Provide regular reports to the General Manager, Director of Finance and Business Support, and Area IT Leader.
• Stay updated with all approved systems and technologies, including LAN and POS.
• Maintain hardware and software performance, as well as digital and physical security standards.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for IT solutions.
• Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions for the hotel team.
• Safeguard the IT infrastructure against cyber threats.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an IT supervisory or similar role.
• Demonstrated capability in installing and maintaining IT systems.
• Proficiency in enhancing IT security measures.
