About the Learning & Development Lead Role

Saipem is seeking a Learning & Development Lead to join the Training & Development team within the HR Department. This contract role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on managing and enhancing the learning and development function across three Saudi entities, contributing to Saipem's global mission of engineering a sustainable future and enabling the energy transition.

Purpose of the Position

The Learning & Development Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated learning strategy. This includes maximizing the utilization of the existing academy and establishing a sustainable knowledge transfer framework to support the professional growth of employees within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the annual Learning & Development strategy.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
• Manage the annual training calendar and budget.
• Maximize the utilization of the Training Academy.
• Design and coordinate technical, engineering, and administrative training programs.
• Establish a formal Knowledge Transfer Program.
• Develop internal trainers (Subject Matter Experts).
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and training records.
• Measure training effectiveness and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development.
• Experience in the Industrial, EPC, or Oil & Gas sectors is preferred.
• Fluent English language proficiency.

Technical and IT Skills

Proficiency in the following technical and IT areas is required:

• Technical Skills: Excel, Power BI
• IT Skills: MS Office Suite

Work Location and Additional Information

This is a contract position located at Amaad Business Park in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. Travel abroad may be required based on project assignments. Saipem offers a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid working model with smart working options and flexible hours.
