About the Role

Dar Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the safety and well-being of our guests at the swimming pool area. Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the highest standards of safety and vigilance at the swimming pool. The Lifeguard is responsible for actively monitoring all activities, preventing potential hazards, and responding effectively to any emergencies that may arise. This involves a proactive approach to safety management and a commitment to guest welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all activities within the swimming pool area to prevent accidents and provide immediate assistance as required.
• Strictly enforce all established safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for guests.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, including administering first aid and performing water rescues.
• Conduct regular and thorough inspections of the pool area to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the swimming pool facilities and surrounding areas.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of an internationally certified rescue license.
• Current certification in Lifeguard training.
• Current certification in First Aid.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Essential Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a lifeguard role, demonstrating a proven track record of ensuring safety in aquatic environments. The role demands strong swimming capabilities and excellent physical stamina. Furthermore, candidates must exhibit superior observational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and make decisive judgments under pressure during emergency situations. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are also essential for interacting with guests and team members.
