About the Opportunity

Guy Carpenter is seeking a Senior Analyst Accounting Operations to join its Fiduciary team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, hybrid role, requiring at least three days a week in the office. The Senior Analyst will contribute to understanding the end-to-end lifecycle of Re-insurance Broking and support change management initiatives during system and process migrations. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Within the first 90 days, the expectation is to gain in-depth knowledge of service and role requirements, attain competency in processes and systems, provide technical guidance, serve as a key point of contact for technical escalations and process improvements, and drive discussions and build relationships with clients, re-insurers, business units, and placing brokers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process cash receipts and disbursement of fiduciary funds, including reconciliations and query resolution.
  • Support cash processing and fiduciary targets, utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of fiduciary systems, processes, policies, and procedures in daily tasks.
  • Prepare, record, and report customer billing transactions from the broker ledger.
  • Respond to stakeholder requests and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Develop strong client and market relationships, delivering value-added service.
  • Maintain technical reinsurance knowledge to effectively manage assigned client and market portfolios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Compliance and Finance, to resolve sensitive client issues.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing forums across locations and collaborate on complex reinsurance developments.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance within the team on reinsurance service processing.
  • Offer insights into complex technical terminology and clarify procedures.
  • Contribute to the authorization and approval process for technical reports and documentation.
  • Actively participate in Business Continuity and Business Impact Analysis, including mitigation planning.
  • Engage in System Release Testing (enhancement, regression) and report bugs.
  • Mentor and train team members for technical and professional growth.
  • Review various Financial KPIs (*, Cash, Funding, Income Exposure, Receivables) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to Working Capital improvement and manage Bad Debt provisioning requirements.
  • Manage complex accounts/portfolios with detailed notes and memos for business continuity.
  • Support financial delivery for assigned teams/entities and provide operational dashboards and metrics.
  • Drive legacy projects across regions to minimize aged balances.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Participate in internal and external audits at the team level, ensuring compliance mandates are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Re-Insurance Accounting within the London, Asian, or US Market.
  • Proven experience in Re-Insurance Broking Accounts or a Fiduciary function.
  • In-depth knowledge of reinsurance concepts, market systems, general business trends, and financial/regulatory impacts on the organization.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across various CSS teams (*, claims, client teams, RM).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client requests effectively.
