Senior Manager Projects

About the Role

National Contracting Co Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager Projects to join their team in the Eastern Province. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive management, leadership, evaluation, and oversight of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within NCC – Energy. The primary objective is to ensure projects achieve desired results, are completed within specified timelines, and meet financial objectives, including profit and loss responsibility for individual projects. The Senior Manager Projects will also establish and maintain professional relationships with owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of assigned EPC projects, ensuring strict compliance with Aramco, SEC, and all contractual, technical, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and quality requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks effectively to meet contractual milestones and financial objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across various functions including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Establish robust project controls for planning, cost control, forecasting, and risk management.
• Lead customer interface activities and maintain strong relationships with key strategic customers such as Saudi Aramco, SEC, and SWCC.
• Support the Business Development team with strategic resource planning.
• Lead project reviews with management and prepare executive reports detailing schedule, cost, risk, cash flow, and resource utilization.
• Drive project closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, claims, change orders, and final financial performance.
• Develop and lead the NCC Energy Project Management Office (PMO), introducing standardized processes, governance, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing projects, preferably within the EPC sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from initiation to closeout.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery within specified timeframes and budget.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern Province, requiring active engagement in managing projects and leading diverse teams within the NCC – Energy division.
