The Role of Testing & Commissioning Engineer

The Testing & Commissioning Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This role involves planning, performing, and documenting electrical testing activities for power systems, substations, and related equipment, ensuring strict compliance with technical standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings and technical documentation.
• Preparing detailed test procedures.
• Conducting functional and performance tests on electrical systems.
• Participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Coordinating effectively with project teams and external vendors.
• Supporting the operational handover of completed projects.
• Providing technical input on aspects of safety, quality, and reliability.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Maintaining clear and accurate reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role requiring full-time presence in Al Khobar. The engineer will work within project teams, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
