About KBR and the Role

KBR, Inc. supports the * Air Force under the AFCAP V Program, providing essential Engineering Support Services to the 378 ECES at Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These services are critical for Installation Engineering, Asset Management and Visibility, and Real Property support to the 378 AEW. In addition to engineering support, KBR also delivers food services and quality-of-life support to sustain base operations. We are seeking a PSAB BOSS: Structures Technician to join our full-time team, requiring a Secret Clearance.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Structures Technician plays a vital role in supporting Sub-Activity Management and Asset Visibility Services. This position provides system-level expertise and field support for critical functions including facility condition assessments, ensuring inventory accuracy, and developing sustainment requirements. The role directly contributes to the BIAT function, supporting SMS BUILDER data quality, achieving assessment completeness and currency targets, and aiding in the development of maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Sub-AMP-level asset visibility and requirements development for structural-related portfolios.
• Conduct and document condition assessments in accordance with SMS BUILDER standards and the 9-point rating method.
• Assist with inventory creation, updates, and the correction of discrepancies, including for facilities lacking RPUIDs.
• Execute data quality tasks, such as supporting QA-15A/QA-15B discrepancy resolution workflows.
• Support quarterly Sub-AMP working groups, contributing to risk-based maintenance strategy discussions and minute input.
• Coordinate with Operations Flight shops and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) planning and prioritize work tasks.
• Support the reconciliation of Real Property (RP) and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) inventory discrepancies between the SMS and base records.
• Provide system-level inputs to Asset Management Plan (AMP) Managers for the Integrated Priority List (IPL), execution planning, and investment recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in structures, facility condition assessments, asset management, or a related field. A Secret Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.

This is a full-time position based at Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting critical * Air Force operations.
