The Role: Team Manager - Workshop

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager - Workshop to organize and control assigned work by scheduling, supervising, and assisting mechanics and technicians operating on shift. This full-time position is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves planning and implementing training for workshop staff, adopting a mentor approach to ensure that assigned staff possess the required skill levels to effectively maintain the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including staffing, monitoring, and quality control.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation, ensuring compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, and manufacturer procedures.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop.
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cost comparisons, and recommend technically sound, cost-effective solutions.
Ensure effective and fair utilization of workshop staff using the SAP Fiori platform.
Generate staff performance reports using SAP Fiori data.
Monitor assigned work, track KPIs, and recommend training requirements based on competency and skill levels.
Maintain and update the workshop staff skills matrix.
Maintain asset records for workshop equipment, report defective or damaged equipment, and recommend repair solutions when required.
Analyze oil analysis reports and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and train technical staff.
Experience with maintenance record-keeping and compliance procedures.
Proficiency in using platforms such as SAP Fiori for operational management and reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a dynamic multinational team, contributing to Almarai's growth plans. The role is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
