About the Cloud Engineer Role

Eram Talent is seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves supporting the design, implementation, management, and operation of secure public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess foundational knowledge in cloud networking, security, identity management, and cybersecurity, coupled with a strong interest in developing expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and managing public cloud environments and landing zones.
• Support cloud network architecture, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and network connectivity.
• Assist with secure connectivity between cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
• Support the implementation and management of cloud security controls and best practices.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management (IAM), user roles, permissions, and access policies.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, network performance, security, and availability.
• Troubleshoot basic cloud networking, connectivity, and security issues.
• Support cloud governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, and application teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud computing, networking, infrastructure, or a related field.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Basic understanding of at least one major public cloud platform (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)).
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Cloud networking and architecture
  • VPC/VNet and subnet design
  • Routing and network security
  • Firewalls and VPNs
  • IAM and access management
  • DNS and load balancing
  • Cloud security and cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Hybrid cloud connectivity

Work Environment
