About the Role

RIG (Recruitment International Group) is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Region. This role is responsible for driving, managing, and delivering external and internal communications in line with the overall strategic communications plan. The objective is to develop effective communications that enable all stakeholders to understand the corporate strategy, business objectives, brand identity, and organizational changes. The manager will work independently while collaborating with business leaders and internal functional leads to ensure strategic and operational alignment, amplifying the business presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute an integrated communications program across the company.
  • Drive, support, and advise on internal and external communications, including planning, media relations, agency management, speaking opportunities, events, and sponsorships.
  • Support marketing partnerships for business development and assist with business merger and acquisition activities, including joint ventures.
  • Manage communications channels selection, media monitoring, budgeting, expenditure, and reporting.
  • Keep abreast of key trends and industry issues to ensure timely and relevant interaction and adaptation in communications.
  • Assist in supporting brand activation events and activities to elevate brand awareness and positioning in alignment with global brand objectives.
  • Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and partnership initiatives, including stakeholder mapping for sustainable development.

Internal Communications Focus

  • Implement a regional employee communications plan that strengthens culture and employee engagement through clear, purposeful, and strategic content.
  • Support management and business leaders in identifying needs and developing internal communications for key business issues, transformations, and organizational changes.
  • Draft scripts, speeches, correspondences, and presentation materials to serve internal communication needs.
  • Plan, conceptualize, propose, and implement appropriate delivery channels and feedback mechanisms, including virtual, digital, and in-person formats.
  • Act as a conduit to cascade, promote, and disseminate internal communication, ensuring alignment with strategy, consistent messaging, and brand identity.
  • Serve as a responsive, quality-focused, and trusted partner for communications needs with all internal stakeholders throughout the region.
  • Create employee awareness and ensure adherence to social media and external communication policies.

External Communications & Media Relations

  • Manage and support the execution of external communications, including public relations, social and media relations, executive thought leadership, customer and business partnerships, and crisis communications.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic direction across all external communications channels for consistent messaging and positive brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance efforts in generating favorable opinion and garnering local and regional media attention.
  • Support management in identifying needs and strategies for external communications, including speaking opportunities, interviews, social media profiling, events, and sponsorships.
  • Plan for industry/event speaking and keynote management opportunities, liaising with event organizers and preparing relevant background information.
  • Work with appointed PR agencies to lead the preparation and distribution of company news, develop media relations plans, and establish positive relationships with media.
  • Create thought leadership strategies for media awareness, ensuring overarching priorities are adhered to for continuous media coverage.
  • Engage and manage external agencies, providing clear and consistent drafts of press releases, scripts, speeches, and presentation materials.
  • Provide media training for business leaders and industry spokespeople, and build a personal network of regional/international media contacts.
  • Build strong collaboration with Business Development and Marketing teams to leverage and amplify impactful customer communications and stories.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant deep work experience as a professional communicator.
  • Proven end-to-end management experience in communications, spanning planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Experience in communications with more than one influencer type: media, bloggers, analysts, government officials, and employees.
  • Outstanding presentation and communications skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to deliver professionally and with impact.
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading, editing, creative storytelling, and consultative advisory skills.
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digitally savvy in social media, social networking, intranet, online collaboration, videography, graphical design, and analytical tools.
  • Excellent portfolio of media relations and a professional network with a proven record in maintaining public and media relations.
  • Previous experience in an agency with account management experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of the energy market and industry trends is preferred.
