Cost Controller

About the Role

Mitsubishi Power Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cost Controller to join its Finance team in Dammam. This full-time position involves evaluating project costs, monitoring budgets, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor actual costs against established budgets.
• Analyze and explain variances in cost performance.
• Conduct detailed analysis of material, labor, transportation, and equipment costs.
• Maintain comprehensive costing records.
• Allocate costs appropriately across projects and departments.
• Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly cost reports.
• Support financial closing processes.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
• Assist in developing project financial performance indicators.
• Contribute to the preparation of cash-flow statements.
• Prepare project-cost journal entries.
• Support internal and external audit activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-9 years of experience in a cost control or similar financial role.

Work Environment

The Cost Controller will work within the Finance team, collaborating closely with project managers and department heads. This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is SAR 11,250 - SAR 15,000.
