Role Overview: Electrical Engineer

This full-time position for an Electrical Engineer is based in Dammam, East Region, and requires 0-1 years of experience. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, control, and monitor the execution of electrical-related project tasks. The engineer will ensure tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and to quality standards, adhering to defined policies and procedures to support departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform erection, testing, and commissioning of Power/Distribution transformers at both site and factory locations.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of power/distribution transformers.
• Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary initial tests.
• Verify the availability of all required accessories for transformers.
• Check impact recorders and collect data from them.
• Assess requirements for cranes or other equipment needed for transformer assembly or disassembly at sites/factory.
• Perform routine electrical tests of transformers in the factory and at site according to International standards.
• Execute low voltage electrical tests at the site.
• Plan day-to-day site activities to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Perform the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, and oil filtration as per established quality procedures.
• Conduct in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair or manufacturing.
• Coordinate with marketing, planning, and customers for necessary gate passes and work permits to facilitate job execution.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

• HR Proficiency: Train subordinates, foster teamwork, provide leadership, coaching, and direction, delegate assignments, and ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale and motivation.
• Delivery: Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilize resources effectively, and provide periodic reports detailing deviations and task execution.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Quality: Ensure quality requirements are met, develop effective quality control processes, and establish specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Business Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Compliance: Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering roles, particularly with exposure to power and distribution transformers.
