About The HSE Leader™ and the Role

The HSE Leader™ is seeking a dedicated HSE Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) functions within the region, ensuring compliance and effective system implementation across all operational sites.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of the HSE Technician is to support the regional Health and Safety function. This involves ensuring that the HESA (Health, Environment, Safety, and Accident) management system is consistently implemented according to company requirements, established procedures, and all applicable legal regulations across various operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate with relevant areas in the systematic identification, assessment, and control of hazards and risks.
• Support the implementation of company HESA procedures, ensuring they are properly issued, implemented, and updated, and prepare periodical reports.
• Analyze statistics, trends, and action plans, proposing corrective actions when needed.
• Participate in and support the development of appropriate HESA training programs.
• Participate in company HESA committees and meetings.
• Support and assist clients and other interested parties by analyzing their requirements and implementing necessary changes.
• Follow up on the proper use of company IT tools to ensure their effective application.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant Health, Safety, and Environment field. A foundational understanding of HESA management systems and regulatory compliance is essential for effective performance in this position.

Operational Adherence and Resource Management

The HSE Technician is expected to strictly comply with all company policies, procedures, and management standards, ensuring full adherence to all laws and regulations pertinent to their area of responsibility. A key aspect of the role also involves protecting company facilities, equipment, and other physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse within their assigned area.
