About the Human Capital Trainee Role

Group AMANA, a regional leader in industrial construction with over three decades of experience in design-build solutions, is seeking a Human Capital Trainee under the Tamheer Program. This internship opportunity is designed for recent graduates to gain practical experience within the Human Capital team in Dammam. Group AMANA is a human-centric organization that prioritizes employee growth and development.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Human Capital Trainee will support various human capital functions, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and the company's strategic objectives. This role involves assisting with employee-related HR matters, maintaining accurate employee databases and personnel files, and supporting payroll transactions. The trainee will also contribute to HRIS module utilization, error reporting, and maintaining labor violation records. Collaboration with the MIS department for system improvements and automation recommendations is a key aspect of this position. Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements in operating regions to ensure HR project compliance is also expected.

  • Assist with all HR issues pertaining to employees, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company strategy.
  • Help manage and maintain the accuracy of the employee database.
  • Support the maintenance of personnel files and records according to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in processing labor payroll and transactions, including leaves, advances, deductions, allowances, separations, and transfers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HRIS modules and identify/report errors.
  • Support the maintenance of labor violation records in line with labor law requirements.
  • Collaborate with the MIS department to recommend system improvements and automation.
  • Maintain awareness of legal requirements in operating regions for HR project compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient Human Capital processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Capital team.

Qualifications and Requirements

This internship is suitable for individuals with a foundational understanding of human resources and a strong desire to learn. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary academic background and personal attributes to succeed in a dynamic HR environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles is advantageous.

Essential Skills and Competencies

Success in this role requires a combination of strong interpersonal abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in essential office software.

Work Context and Type

This is an internship position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role is part of the Tamheer Program, focusing on providing hands-on training and experience in human capital management within Group AMANA.
