Manufacturing Specialist Material Plan & Execution

About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist 1 - Material Plan & Execution to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a contract position requiring 2-5 years of experience, with a salary of 7650 SAR/Month. The specialist will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials essential for business operations.

Role Overview

The Manufacturing Specialist will collaborate with sales, commercial, region personnel, AMO, and supply chain teams to translate demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across various time horizons into physical orders. The primary objective is to ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements while optimizing inventory and shipping costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to develop regional (12-18 month) and global forecasts.
• Convert demand plans into physical orders, understanding business trends and their impact on forecasts.
• Analyze incoming demand, identify order exceptions, address misalignments with product rationalization strategy, and identify opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
• Plan and schedule order timelines to align with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping expenses.
• Work with Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push-outs, pull-ins).
• Perform material management analysis, including statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, and safety stock.
• Implement inventory stocking strategies and monitor levels of safety stock, global, and aging inventory, coordinating with regions and manufacturing plants as necessary.
• Ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured with the AMO organization and integrated into the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Assist in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

Work Environment and Schedule

• The role is office-based in Dammam.
• Work schedule is 5 days a week, with 2 days off, from 7 am to 4 pm (9 hours daily).
• The role operates in a fast-paced environment that may require support after working hours.
• Working conditions are standard office conditions with no associated safety risks.
• On-job training, MRP training, and safety-related topics training will be provided.
