About the Medical Representative Role

Tabuk Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Representative to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Representative will be responsible for introducing company products to healthcare professionals through professional presentations. This involves making regular visits to doctors, whether through cold calling or scheduled appointments. A key aspect of the role includes following up with doctors and healthcare providers to monitor product stock, consumption, and gather feedback. The representative will also be tasked with identifying and developing prospective customers, providing them with detailed information about company offerings, and preparing written proposals and quotations.

  • Prepare and deliver professional product presentations to doctors and healthcare providers.
  • Conduct frequent visits to healthcare professionals, utilizing both cold calling and pre-arranged appointments.
  • Follow up on product stock, consumption, and gather feedback from healthcare providers.
  • Provide detailed information to existing and prospective customers through telephone calls and in-person visits.
  • Research and identify potential new customers and assess their needs.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations.
  • Continuously update knowledge of medical data and industry developments to provide competitive information.
  • Report on customer needs, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services to management.

Sales Strategy and Execution

This role involves strategic planning and execution to achieve sales targets. The Medical Representative will forecast monthly sales targets and develop strategies to meet them. Persuading targeted doctors to prescribe company products through effective selling skills is crucial. The representative will also create and manage customer value plans, focusing on profile, share, and opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Planning personal sales strategy to maximize Return on Time Investment within the assigned territory is also a key responsibility. Cooperation and coordination with sales and collection teams are essential.

  • Plan and forecast monthly sales targets and implement corresponding actions.
  • Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe company products using effective selling techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this position must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. The role is specifically for Saudi nationals. While the original advertisement states 1-3 years of experience, this role is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience.
