About the Merchandiser Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position focuses on optimizing product presence and supporting sales initiatives within retail environments. PepsiCo products are consumed over a billion times daily across more than 200 countries and territories, with a 2021 net revenue exceeding $79 billion, driven by a portfolio including LAY’S, DORITOS, CHEETOS, GATORADE, PEPSI, and QUAKER.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary objective of this role is to maximize the on-shelf availability and presentation of PepsiCo products in all assigned outlets. The Merchandiser plays a crucial part in the sales team by ensuring products are displayed according to planograms and maintaining stock freshness. This role also involves gathering market intelligence to support sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit designated outlets according to a daily journey plan.
• Merchandise products in various locations within stores, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
• Ensure all product placements adhere to approved planograms.
• Rotate stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove substandard products.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked shelf presence for all products.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns as required.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional conduct.

• Last Time Agreement (LTA) Enforcement
• Journey Plan Adherence
