Network Operations Engineer (NOC) L

About the Role

Connect Professional Services is seeking a Network Operations Engineer (NOC) L to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves managing and monitoring critical infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational efficiency, supporting GACA's business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage infrastructure on a 24/7 basis.
• Provide back-to-back support for infrastructure components with relevant vendors as needed.
• Conduct on-site health check-ups following troubleshooting.
• Log and track tickets using an ITSM tool.
• Provide on-site support whenever required, on a 24/7 basis.
• Ensure efficient and smooth operation of all systems with high availability levels that meet business requirements.
• Provide monthly reports on infrastructure status (health, capacity, incidents, etc.), with weekly reports if requested.
• Allocate a Remote Service Delivery Manager as a single point of contact.
• Maintain an online portal for managed components, clearly indicating device status or business impact.
• Provide a well-defined Service Level Agreement.
• Align IT service management processes with the ITIL framework and global best practices.
• Develop and document monitoring procedures that meet requirements and adhere to defined policies in the standards and procedures manual.
• Develop and maintain standard automated scripts for monitoring systems software.
• Identify and report problems, including system, file, disk, and application issues.
• Resolve or assist in resolving application problems in accordance with the SLR, escalating as required.
• Implement preventative measures for proactive monitoring and self-healing capabilities to limit service outages.
• Provide proactive and scheduled console monitoring of infrastructure and systems (*, hardware, network, batch schedule, interfaces, table spaces), responding to messages and taking corrective action.
• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and escalation of problems within the IaaS computing environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience with fundamental knowledge of supported technologies, monitoring, event management, and reporting skills.
• Certifications: Candidates must hold the following certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) – Security

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring a commitment to 24/7 monitoring and on-site support as needed to maintain critical infrastructure operations.
