About the Role

Org Uac is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing daily procurement operations and contributing to strategic material sourcing and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily procurement activities, ensuring timely processing of purchase requisitions and orders.
Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and budget compliance, and ensure purchase orders adhere to the company approval matrix.
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and favorable delivery terms.
Follow up on purchase order status and supplier commitments to prevent material shortages and production disruptions.

Material Sourcing and Planning

Develop material sourcing plans based on forecasted production volumes, in alignment with Production and Planning departments.
Apply safety stock strategies and consider supplier lead times to determine optimal order quantities and timing.
Collaborate with Warehouse and Inventory teams to maintain material availability while avoiding unnecessary purchases.

Supplier Management and Negotiation

Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and vendors, maintaining an updated supplier database.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery, and resolve issues such as pricing discrepancies, quality concerns, and delays.

Cost Control and Reporting

Conduct price comparisons and market assessments to support informed purchasing decisions.
Identify cost savings opportunities through bulk purchasing, long-term agreements, and improved commercial terms without compromising quality.
Monitor procurement spend, support budget control, and report on cost savings and overall procurement performance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance departments to meet business requirements, including resolving supplier invoice and payment issues.
