About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced QC Insulation Inspector to join a reputable company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector, focusing on quality control for insulation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect thermal insulation activities for piping, vessels, tanks, and other equipment in accordance with approved project specifications and applicable standards.
Verify insulation materials, including type, thickness, density, and compliance with approved material specifications.
Inspect surface preparation to ensure equipment or piping is ready for insulation application.
Monitor the installation of insulation materials, cladding, jacketing, and associated accessories.
Verify insulation thickness, installation quality, joint arrangements, and finishing.
Inspect weatherproofing, sealing, and cladding to ensure protection against moisture ingress and environmental exposure.
Review approved drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, and QA/QC personnel to resolve quality-related issues.
Raise inspection requests and maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conformities, report defects, and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in QC inspection.
Hands-on experience in piping and equipment insulation within Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
Experience gained in the Gulf region is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience from their home country are also eligible.
