About the Quality Control Supervisor Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join its Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) team in Dammam. This full-time position is within a global organization that serves the entire energy value chain and industrial sector, offering an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. The role focuses on enhancing the quality of engineering processes and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and guiding quality inspectors, including assigning tasks, monitoring daily activities, and ensuring team productivity. This role involves providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Key duties also include ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as attending pre-inspection meetings and managing punch list closure meetings with customers. The supervisor will ensure the completeness and on-time delivery of quality records and partner with the production team to ensure smooth and compliant cell operations.

• Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) related to manufacturing quality issues.
• Monitoring quality control metrics and taking appropriate actions for observations or punch list items found during execution phases.
• Driving cross-functional improvement projects for operational processes using lean methods to achieve flawless execution and eliminate waste.
• Leading Quality Tool Box awareness sessions for the production team.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of Quality Control processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role are required to hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and rotating equipment is essential. The position also requires specific certifications, including Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification and ISO9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification.
