About the Sales Engineer Role at Al-Rashed Group

Al-Rashed Group is seeking a highly capable Sales Engineer to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is central to identifying new sales opportunities and managing strategic customer relationships within the fabrication, valves, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Role Context and Objectives

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth by engaging with key clients and ensuring the effective delivery of technical and commercial solutions. This role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience who can navigate complex industrial environments and build lasting partnerships with strategic customers such as Aramco, SEC, EPC contractors, and distributors.

Key Sales Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities specifically within the fabrication, valves, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with strategic customers, including major entities like Aramco, SEC, EPC contractors, and various distributors.
  • Prepare and submit precise quotations, comprehensive proposals, and detailed technical-commercial offers.
  • Conduct professional sales presentations and product demonstrations as required for clients.
  • Work towards and achieve established monthly and annual sales targets.

Technical Support and Coordination

  • Interpret Request for Quotations (RFQs), engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and technical specifications accurately.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal engineering, production, and planning teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Provide customers with accurate technical advice, appropriate product selections, and tailored engineering solutions.
  • Offer support in product testing, inspection, and witnessing activities when necessary.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this Sales Engineer position should possess a strong blend of technical expertise and sales proficiency. Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales engineering role or a related technical sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex technical documents and specifications.
  • Proven capability to coordinate effectively with various internal technical and operational departments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and providing technical guidance.
