About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards are met and assisting management with daily activities. The role requires coordination across various departments to maintain efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool area after cleaning to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist housekeeping management in overseeing daily operations and coordinating efforts with engineering, front desk, and laundry services.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Generate reports on occupied rooms and verify room status, identifying out-of-order rooms.
• Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Document and resolve out-of-order room issues with the front desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/schedules.
• Report unresolved issues to the next shift team and perform required administrative tasks.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Support colleagues and treat all with dignity and respect, contributing to team goals.

Physical and Operational Requirements

• Move at required speeds (*, running, walking, jogging) to respond to work situations.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects.
• Input and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ascend and descend stairs and service ramps.
• Utilize continuous manual dexterity and gross motor skills, with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity.
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) without assistance, and over 25 kg (55 lbs) with assistance.
• Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work equipment over sloped and uneven surfaces.
• Stand, kneel, sit, or walk for extended periods or with high frequency during a full shift.
• Listen and respond appropriately to guest and employee concerns, using clear and courteous language in all communications.
• Perform all other duties as requested by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring active engagement in a dynamic hotel environment. The role involves working closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and high standards of guest satisfaction.
