About the Supply Chain Coordinator Role

WISKOTS is seeking a practical and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and delivery of essential materials, tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables required for company operations and projects. The role involves coordinating material requirements, managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely availability of operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for a range of critical supply chain functions:

  • Coordinating material, equipment, tool, spare-part, and consumable requirements with relevant departments.
  • Verifying available stock levels before initiating new purchases.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of material requirements, pending Purchase Orders, expected deliveries, shortages, and outstanding items.
  • Requesting and following up on supplier quotations.
  • Reviewing basic quotation details, including descriptions, quantities, prices, delivery periods, payment terms, and validity.
  • Preparing Purchase Orders based on approved requests and management instructions.
  • Ensuring Purchase Orders receive the necessary approvals before issuance.
  • Issuing approved Purchase Orders and following up with suppliers on acknowledgements and deliveries.
  • Receiving, inspecting, recording, storing, issuing, returning, and transferring materials and equipment against approved documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and participating in physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Monitoring minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
  • Identifying and reporting shortages, damaged items, obsolete stock, expired materials, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinating transportation, collection, dispatch, delivery, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
  • Preparing and maintaining delivery notes, dispatch records, packing lists, gate passes, transfer records, and return notes.
  • Tracking deliveries until receipt confirmation and reporting any delays, losses, damage, or shortages.
  • Maintaining organized electronic and/or hard-copy records for purchasing, inventory, and logistics activities.
  • Preparing routine supply-chain reports and status updates.
  • Coordinating with Operations, Projects, Finance, QHSE, suppliers, drivers, transport providers, and site personnel.
  • Complying with WISKOTS procedures, approval authorities, document-control requirements, and QHSE requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Practical experience in inventory control, stores, warehousing, logistics, procurement support, or supply-chain coordination.
  • Experience preparing or processing Purchase Orders.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, deliveries, transportation, and material requirements.
  • Experience using inventory systems, ERP platforms, or similar applications is considered an advantage.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province.
