About Beeah Planners, Architects and Engineers

Beeah Planners, Architects and Engineers is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our consultant team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and involves supervising the implementation of a municipal systems development project.

The Role

The Mechanical Project Manager will be the primary individual responsible for overseeing all mechanical works on site. This role involves leading and coordinating mechanical activities with other project disciplines, ensuring successful execution, inspection, testing, commissioning, and final handover of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for all on-site mechanical works and activities.
• Review mechanical and IFC drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Review and approve mechanical materials, equipment, suppliers, and relevant technical documentation.
• Examine Method Statements and Installation Procedures (ITPs) specific to mechanical works.
• Monitor the execution of mechanical works, verifying adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect mechanical materials and equipment delivered to the site, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Review Requests for Information (RFI) and technical inquiries pertaining to mechanical works.
• Track any discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions, coordinating the preparation of Redline drawings as needed.
• Oversee the quality of execution and mechanical installation works.
• Coordinate effectively with Electrical Engineers, Civil Engineers, the Security Systems team, and other project disciplines.
• Participate in and supervise testing, commissioning, and handover activities for mechanical works.
• Review As-Built drawings and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
• Follow up on observations, manage the Punch List, and ensure its closure.
• Contribute to final handover activities and project closure.
• Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports related to mechanical works.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in supervising the execution of mechanical works and project management.
• Experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in reviewing drawings, specifications, ITPs, and Method Statements.
• Experience in inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

Required Skills

• Strong coordination and business management skills.
• Excellent communication and report preparation abilities.
• Ability to work residentially on site.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated consultant team, collaborating with various engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.
