About the Academy Trainee Program

FTI Consulting is offering an Academy Trainee position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a structured 12-month paid traineeship designed to bridge the gap from university to full-time employment, launching on November 22, 2026. The program provides foundational skills for consulting and applies them to real client projects, with a gross monthly salary of SAR 7,500 from day one and a SAR 15,000 bonus upon completion. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Program Structure and Learning

The KSA Academy program is structured around five learning blocks and eight core themes. It begins with classroom and facilitated sessions before trainees join live client projects across various business segments. Protected learning time is integrated throughout the year, ensuring continuous development. The program aims to build Saudi talent, offering a pathway to full-time employment at FTI Consulting for trainees who demonstrate significant potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete an intensive launch block covering orientation, business segments, working styles, ownership, communication, writing, and presenting.
• Develop core skills in business and finance fundamentals, critical thinking, Excel, data, and AI.
• Participate in live client projects from early 2027, with projects becoming the primary focus as the year progresses.
• Assume increasing responsibility and work more independently as skills develop.
• Gain exposure to various parts of the firm by working across different segments.
• Meet weekly with the cohort to develop new skills, explore themes such as AI, and present learned material.
• Complete a career capstone at the end of the program to showcase progress.

Professional Development

The program is designed and facilitated by an internal Learning & Development specialist, with business-specific sessions led by senior colleagues. It follows five stages: Launch, Build, Apply, Grow, and Close, covering eight core themes:

• Professional essentials: ownership, feedback, and collaboration.
• Communication and collaboration: clear writing, questioning, presenting, and teamwork.
• Business understanding: models, finance, customers, and markets.
• Problem solving and critical thinking: problem definition, challenging assumptions, and insight generation.
• Digital, data, and AI skills: using Excel and data for business questions, and responsible AI use.
• Commercial and client awareness: understanding client needs, value creation, and work acquisition.
• Initiative, innovation, and impact: identifying improvements, developing ideas, and making recommendations.
• Self-awareness and career discovery: understanding strengths, learning from feedback, and career path alignment.

Trainees will also benefit from mentoring by senior staff and holiday breaks between learning blocks.
