The Role of Accountant

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to preparing financial statements that meet the highest standards for both internal and external reporting requirements. The Accountant will ensure strict adherence to Almarai's established policies, procedures, and accounting standards, as well as the standards set by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Group and Division-wise profit and loss accounts according to Almarai's standard format, ensuring divisional results align with Group PRO.
• Analyze Balance Sheet components, comparing them with previous periods and prior years, and gather necessary backups and schedules to support major reported deviations.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in the format approved by the Quality & Development department.
• Extract Trial Balance data for each component within the financial statements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in financial accounting.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Confidence in working with ERP systems.
