About Dar Masarat and the Role

Dar Masarat is a Saudi management consulting firm that provides advisory, research, strategy, institutional excellence, and transformation projects across both public and private sectors. As the firm continues its growth trajectory, it operates with a lean core team, supported by project-based teams and consultants for client engagements. We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

Role Overview

The Accountant will take ownership of the company's finance function, playing a critical role in strengthening financial operations as the organization expands. This position involves managing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial compliance, and providing essential financial support to management for informed decision-making within a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records.
• Process payroll and employee financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements and VAT regulations.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and statutory reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Maintain financial controls and improve internal accounting processes.
• Support the implementation and ongoing use of Odoo ERP.
• Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience and demonstrate the following attributes:

• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
• Passionate about improving financial processes rather than simply maintaining existing ones.
• Comfortable working independently within a growing organizational structure.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation in financial operations.
• Able to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.

• Project accounting.
• Payroll administration.
• Contract and project employee accounting.
• Budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Cash flow management.

• Odoo ERP implementation or administration.
