Architect Engineer (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons is seeking an Architect Engineer (Saudi National) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves applying architectural design standards and techniques to a variety of assignments. The role focuses on developing original designs and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of conventional and moderately complex architectural assignments independently.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs.
• Apply standard architectural techniques and demonstrate familiarity with company procedures.
• Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and criteria, and prepare related reports.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by architectural designers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Interface with suppliers as required and coordinate work with engineering and construction teams at the project site.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
• Provide the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.
• Provide technical guidance to architectural designers and drafters working on the same project.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in architectural engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of architectural assignments.
• Thorough familiarity with architectural design standards, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to apply standard architectural techniques and company procedures.
