Area Sales Engineer

About the Role

Startech Operation & Maintenance Company is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time field sales and business development role focused on IT hardware sales, requiring independent prospecting and customer engagement across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and strong technical knowledge in IT hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
• Perform regular customer visits to build and maintain client relationships.
• Develop new accounts across Saudi Arabia.
• Achieve sales targets for industrial and rugged IT hardware.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to sell industrial networking, automation, and IIoT products and solutions.

Products to be Sold

• Advantech industrial PCs, industrial networking, automation gateways, and IIoT solutions.
• Neousys rugged edge computers, GPU computing, and Edge AI platforms.
• Getac and Durabook rugged laptops and tablets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant IT-hardware sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware products.
• Proficiency in Arabic is required.
• Candidates must possess meaningful IT-hardware sales experience supported by technical product knowledge.
• Experience in Electrical, BMS, MEP, or general ELV alone is not sufficient for this role.

Work Environment

This is a field-based sales position requiring regular travel and customer engagement across Saudi Arabia. The role is full-time and based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
