About the Role

AIQU is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a permanent position within one of its client organizations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on professional services, requiring a blend of technical expertise in AI development and client-facing capabilities.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Senior AI Engineer will be instrumental in developing and deploying advanced AI solutions. This involves working across the full AI lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to production deployment and ongoing monitoring. A key aspect of this role is client interaction, where you will lead technical discussions and present findings to various stakeholders.

• Develop and deploy AI applications and solutions into production environments.
• Build and manage AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Implement MLOps principles for model CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.
• Develop REST APIs for serving ML models and Generative AI logic.
• Engage in client-facing activities, leading technical discussions and presentations.

Required Technical Expertise

This position demands a strong foundation in AI and software engineering principles, with practical experience in modern development tools and platforms.

• Hands-on experience with AI application development, software engineering, or machine learning engineering, with a proven track record of production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (*, pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy).
• Practical experience with Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector databases.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s).
• Solid understanding of secure application development practices, including authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with the DataRobot AI Platform is considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong academic background and substantial professional experience in relevant fields.

• Approximately 6-8 years of hands-on experience in a relevant role.
• A Master’s Degree or ** in Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in a client-facing or consulting role.
