About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an Assistant Manager Engineering and Development Business Solutions to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a highly skilled technical GIS professional with 0-1 years of experience, who will play a pivotal role in the deployment, support, and troubleshooting of ArcGIS Enterprise.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with IT and development teams to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of our GIS infrastructure. This role is instrumental in driving the effectiveness of geospatial operations through expert management of the ArcGIS platform, requiring a strong background in computer science or a related field, coupled with practical experience in GIS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the comprehensive suite of ArcGIS Enterprise components, including Portal, Server, Data Store, and Web Adaptor, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues alongside relevant teams, focusing on publishing, services, Single Sign-On (SSO), certificates, networking, and overall system performance.
• Collaborate effectively with IT professionals to manage and optimize server configurations, networks, firewall settings, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), cloud infrastructure, and ensure robust system security protocols.
• Support a variety of basic GIS application development workflows, including the use of REST APIs, web maps, custom applications, and integrations.
• Manage user support tickets efficiently, maintain comprehensive documentation, and oversee operational monitoring to ensure a smooth and effective user experience across the GIS platform.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or GIS.
• 0-1 years of practical experience in GIS technologies.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture.
• Good understanding of Windows Server, networking principles, and API basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across GIS, IT, and application layers.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
