About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company | القدية is a visionary leader in Saudi Arabia's entertainment and cultural development sector. We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as an Assistant Manager Group Accounting. This full-time role is instrumental in shaping the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies.

Role Overview

As the Assistant Manager Group Accounting, you will oversee the group accounting function. This includes leading the consolidation of financial statements across the group, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and providing insightful financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. Your leadership will be vital in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in group accounting, with significant leadership experience in a similar role.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation processes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in accounting.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will join a dynamic team contributing to a significant development project within the Kingdom.
