Role Overview

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate, Global Mobility & Contracts for the Middle East region. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 3-5 years of experience. The role serves as the primary point of contact for global mobility and contracts across designated Middle East jurisdictions, with an initial focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities include coordinating international assignments, managing immigration requirements, and drafting employment contracts in compliance with local labor laws and company policies. The ideal candidate is fluent in Arabic and English and can manage related matters with limited oversight, partnering with HR, Legal, business leaders, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary operational point of contact for global mobility matters across the Middle East.
Manage the end-to-end global mobility process, including international relocations, assignments, transfers, and repatriation.
Coordinate visa applications, work permits, residency permits, and other immigration-related requirements.
Monitor immigration status and document-expiry dates, tracking application progress and resolving issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable immigration laws, local regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee mobility records, assignment documentation, and immigration status updates.
Draft, review, and prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and related documentation for employees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ensure employment contracts align with applicable local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Prepare and review employment documentation in both Arabic and English, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Serve as a key contact for employment contract inquiries, providing guidance to HR teams and stakeholders.
Handle personal, immigration, and employment information confidentially and in accordance with data-protection requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in global mobility and employment contracts.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
Ability to manage mobility and contract-related matters with limited oversight.
Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulatory requirements in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Experience in coordinating international assignments and relocations.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal and contractual documentation.
