Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a Branch Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency at the branch level within our organization.

The Role of Branch Accountant

The Branch Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities specific to the branch. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, facilitates timely reporting, and upholds adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. The accountant will collaborate closely with both the sales team and the central finance department to provide effective financial management that supports daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive financial records for the branch, including invoices, receipts, and ledgers.
Monitor sales performance, collection activities, and customer account balances.
Process payments accurately and record all expenses.
Manage petty cash and control branch expenses effectively.
Conduct daily reconciliation of bank statements with appropriate guidance.
Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries.
Track branch cash flow and monitor expenditures.
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all financial transactions.
Report any financial discrepancies or issues promptly to the line manager.
Ensure full compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Support audit activities by organizing and providing necessary documents and information.
Communicate with other departments as required for financial matters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management roles, preferably within a branch or operational setting. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping is essential for success in this role.
