Role Overview: Business Development and Partnerships Specialist

The Business Development and Partnerships Specialist supports Naseej’s business growth and portfolio expansion. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves identifying market opportunities, qualifying strategic partners, developing business cases, and coordinating partnership initiatives. The specialist will support the entire partnership lifecycle, from initial engagement to performance follow-up, and provide management with research, analysis, and decision support. The position requires 4 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and assess new business opportunities, market trends, emerging technologies, priority sectors, and potential strategic partners.
Research and qualify prospective technology vendors, solution providers, content providers, and ecosystem partners for strategic and commercial suitability.
Support the complete partnership lifecycle, including initial engagement, qualification, business-case preparation, NDA and MoU coordination, commercial negotiations, onboarding, and performance follow-up.
Develop partnership proposals, business cases, financial assumptions, value propositions, and commercial models.
Support go-to-market planning for new solutions, partnerships, and market-entry initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Solutions, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, GRC, Delivery) to progress strategic initiatives and secure approvals.
Maintain and manage the partnership and business-development pipeline, including ownership, priorities, next actions, and status updates.
Conduct market sizing, competitor analysis, industry research, and customer and sector assessments.
Support New Product Introduction activities, including market validation, positioning, commercial readiness, partner selection, and go-to-market planning.
Monitor partner performance, pipeline contribution, commercial progress, and strategic value.
Prepare executive presentations, opportunity briefs, partnership updates, and management reports.
Support participation in strategic events, conferences, partner meetings, and industry forums.
Identify and assess opportunities for geographic expansion and entry into new sectors.
Support the development of strategic alliances across SaaS, artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation, education technology, knowledge solutions, sports technology, and other relevant emerging areas.
Maintain complete documentation and appropriate governance for partnership agreements, opportunity assessments, and business-development initiatives.
