About the Role

Atwar Alkon is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the construction and contracting sector in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for expanding the company's project portfolio and achieving ambitious growth targets. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, including tenders, projects, and potential clients, specifically within the construction and contracting sector.
• Build and develop strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, such as real estate developers, companies, and government/semi-government entities.
• Leverage the existing client base and contact data to convert leads into actual business opportunities.
• Conduct ongoing market research and studies to identify emerging trends, analyze competitor activity, and discover untapped opportunities.
• Explore and propose alternative business opportunities and revenue streams to diversify the company's project portfolio.
• Prepare and follow up on commercial and technical proposals, coordinating closely with the engineering and finance teams.
• Represent the company effectively at relevant industry events and exhibitions.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing business opportunities and conversion rates.
• Achieve agreed quarterly business development targets.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong preference for candidates from the construction/contracting sector.
• An existing client base and contact data within the contracting industry is essential.
• Solid understanding of the contracting business, including tenders, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), contracts, and construction phases.
• Preference for candidates residing in Riyadh.

Compensation and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The salary range for this role is SAR 5,625 - SAR 7,500.
